Can anyone tell me about workhouses in Wales or where I can find info on them.
Looking for Thomas Davies my gg and found a Thomas Davies Shoe maker in Wrexham Union Workhouse.
Also listed just below Thomas is Elizabeth Davies both described as married, could it be that they were man and wife?.
Where can I get date of entry into workhouse?
What happened to any children?
Please can anyone shed any light on workhouses in Wales.
