James Davies, my grandfather,
originally Welsh, on C1901 he was in Clay Cross Derbyshire as a boarder, labourer, place of birth Brecon,
Marriage 1905 to Annie Ellott who's family came from Clay Cross,
Children were Sidney b 1908, Violet b 1907, Edward b 1911,
Frank b 1913, Daisy Elizabeth b 1915 and John William b 1923 all lived in Sheffield South Yorkshire but at that time was the West Riding.
c1911 James Annie Sidney and Edward in Sheffield James occupation engineers labourer and place of birth now stated as Mid Glamorgan Glamorgan Wales.
He also told my aunt Daisy Elizabeth that he came form philadelphia but nothing else.
Very little know between the dates given.
Frank Davies lived in Tanyanika for many years so I do not have anything for him except his dob
Please can anyone help?
