James Patrick Walsh born in Georgetown, now known as Invercargill, New Zealand March 5 1881, eldest son of Patrick and Bridget Walsh (nee Moran). Patrick is understood to have gone overseas and joined the army in UK ?, we have a photo of him in an army uniform (kilt) and then one of him many years later with four medals, all from WW1. We understand that he married, could have a daughter but we also understand that he died ? aged 50 ish, and that his widow eventually re married and went overseas, ? Canada, he could have been in England or Scotland. We have searched for years. We have nothing else. |

Alexander Carmichael Born Dec 1, 1776. Married Agnes Lawson pre 1803 and Had children, Dougald, Henry, Jane, john, Andrew, Elizabeth. Dougald came to Canada with three of his sons. I have hit a wall with this family here and have been unable to find anything on them before coming to Canada. |
