Looking for information on Thomas Pearson, christened on the 13 mar 1803.In St Cuthberts Parish, Edinburgh. His father was John Pearson, mother Margaret Laing. I would like to know if John and Margaret were married as the entry from the Register of Baptism is illegible. I would also like to know if he had any siblings. Thomas married Agnes Rymer on the !st Aug 1824 in Edinburgh Parish, Was it in St. Cuthberts Church?
I would be grateful for any help filling in the gaps, They moved to England sometime between 1824 and 1841 I have their census details from then on |

Baptism for Duncan McRae : 1789
Baptism for Alexander McRae : 1794
Baptism for John McRae : 1794
All from Kintail, Rosshire, Scotland
Emigrated to Canada between 1794 and 1824
The first name of their father may have been Finley
They were Presbyterian, and all their children were baptised in Canada in the Presbyterian Church
I would like to know what kind of work the McRae men did while in Kintail, and any information you might be able to find regarding their ancestors in Scotland |
