Grandfather, Albert Leonard, Woolwich, London and any pre or after. Also, Rowe, Jane, who married him and her mother, Susannah Rowe. His parents, Albert and ? had 20 children in Woolwich in the 1850's onwards - e.g. Ryah, Alice, Samuel, Maude, Grace, George, Jane, who died at the age of about 5 jumping over the bonfire on Guy Fawkes night.

My Mother's father, possibly born in India. Worked in the Indian postal service, legend has it that he was the assistant post master general for India. He retired to England around 1930, to Hounslow Mddx, and died there in 1950/51. He may have been born in Scotland. His name was Charles George Ferdinand

Francis Maddams born at Clophill Bedfordshire,probably 1818, son of William Maddams and Sarah(nee Priest of Ickleford near Hitchin Herts who married 1809 at Shillington living together at Clophill Beds) Francis was trained in Whitechapel in the Grocery trade at the firm of W Oakley's Tea and Grocery Warehouse 72 Whitechapel We have a card indicating this address and his sailing. He sailed from the West India Dock London to Jamaica on the "Christian" on March 24th 1838 bound for Saxham Estate, Green Island , Parish of Hanover County of Cornwall Jamaica under Captain Wilkie Green Island is now the second largest community of Hanover parish, a port on the Green Island River. We have no record of him after his sailing although we were told years ago the boat arrived, Is there out there any further information about him Thank you
