John McKee, born abt. 1806 in County Down, Ireland. His father was Thomas McKee. John married Margaret Roddie, a daughter of James Roddie and Elnor Nesbit. John and Margaret had 2 sons, Thomas and John before leaving Ireland in 1846 for St. Johns, NB, Canada. After settling they had 5 more children. Their oldest, Thomas and his wife Sarah, had 5 children, including my great-grandfather, George Ira McKee. George married Jennie Bartlett and they had 13 children, including my grandfather, David Emil McKee, born Jan. 21, 1910 in Calais, Maine. I would love to hear from anyone with info about my Irish or Canadian ancestors. Thank-you and God bless! |

Looking for Thomson family from New brunswick, Canada.
In particular i am interested in family of my grandfather, William Henry Thomson, who came to the Uk during WW1.
He was born in Dipper Harbour 1895c and had the following siblings:-
Eliza Jane; Alberta May; Alfred Durant; Florence Mrytle and Mattie Alice.
Their paretns were Charles Thomas Thomson b 1851c and Margaret Jane (Miles) born 1852c; both possibly NB
My dad knows nothing about his family so if i can get any further he'll be thrilled
