We met them in Malawi, Central Africa in 1966. They adopted a boy called Francisco who was about 12 in 1966. They had a daughterof their own in 1970.

My great uncle William Joseph Hennessy left Ireland (Co. Laois) in about 1895 and we believe went to live in Chicago. He maried and had children but we have no idea of spouse or childrens' names. We believe the family may have been involved ina fire and some members may have died. Wiliam may have remarried. I am the grandaughter of his youngest brother Thomas. He also had a brother Joseph who went to Denver where he died in 1943. William was second eldest in the family. Other siblings were Mary, Joseph, Anne, Elizabeth, Patrick, John and Thomas. William was born February 1872 his father was Patricj and his mother was Eliza Dunphy |

Trying to confirm parentage of Isaac Morgan b. 1800 VA., believed to be the son of Evan Thomas and Camilla Hartley Morgan. Married J/Garrett Hinkle b.1798 VA, some time around 1820-24. They had sons, Thomas b.? VA (possibly named after Evan Thomas, Joseph b 1826-28 VA, Samuel Hinkle b 1832 VA, Stephen b.1836-38 IL, and daughter. Mary J/G b 1842 TX. There may have been other children. He supposedly came to TX with two siblings, John F. and Hiram Morgan. Both lived in near counties. Any help substantiating parentage would be appreciated. |

They had sons, Thomas b.?,Joseph b 1828 VA, Samuel Hinkle b.1832 VA, Stephen b.1836-38 IL, Mary J/G b.1842 TX. J/Garetta may have come from Margaretta. She died in McLennan Co TX some time after 1860 census. |
