Wadhams Thursday, 14 June 2007
Have so far been unable to find the death record of David WADHAMS. Living at 153 Sutton Court Road on the 1901 census and on 1902/3 electoral roll. Wife Julia remarries (as a widow) to Charles Finlayson on 10 February 1906 in Bishops Stortford. The family lived in Bishops Stortford previously. Have had a cemetery search done for B.S. Have done GRO search and checked out as many variations of the name as we can think of on 1837, FREE BMD, Family History etc. Cemetery search at Manor Park Cemetery. David was born 1853 Northamptonshiore, married 1885. 6 children, Mary Ada, Julia, Eliza, Lucy and Joseph. David recorded as dec. on childrens marriage certs. in 1916 and 1920. No family skeletons in the cupboard as far as we can make out or any family rumours/hints of scandal. David was a carpenter joiner. He did not as far as we are aware join any of the forces after the 1901 census. His death is the last missing link in the tree which so far goes back to 1800.

Curtis Thursday, 12 April 2007
I am trying to trace any information on my Grandfather Charles Walter Curtis. I am sure he was born in the UK, emigrated to Canada, returned to the UK with the Princess Pat Regiment in 1915. he met my Grandmother, Grace Tucker, they were married in Broadstairs, kent in March 1919 and they stayed in England, travelling to find work, eventually settling in Wolverhampton, Staffs which is where he died in 1956. I have huge gaps that I need to fill. I know his father was William Alfred Curtis, but have no further information that that!
