James clarke was born in Sommerset in 1837 came to Australia approx 1858 then met on b boat Amelia Gould (born 1839 - Tipperary ) and married 1888 their 2nd son John born 1859 at Emu Creek and they also had children James and Amelia.
Nothing known of James and Amelia after that.They are my Great-great grandparents. I would love to know more of them from James and Alemia's descendents. |

Grandfather Saunders born 1884 Brisbane was sent to Lytton Industrial School Brisbane in 1895 (aged 11) for 5 years as a neglected child. He is a illegitimate child to Mary Blessington. I have been unable to find any information on him from the time he was sent to Lytton until 1913 were he appeared on Qld Electoral Roll. I am trying to find anything on him while he was in Lytton and what happened to him when he was released. |

PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP I'm looking for anyonr one who might share my ancestors as I finding it hard to find information held in australia. My Great Grandfather "Ernest George Hurren and his wife "Frances Olive" moved to BRISBANE in 1926 along with children Alfred, Francis (Percy), Olive, William, Edward and Maurice. I also have found another child born in australia in 1927 who sadly died in 1928. My NAN OLIVE married an Arnold Robert Sharpe in 1941. My dad can also recall playing as a boy with DESSIE (Desmond) If anyone cam help fill in the missing gaps i would love to here from you |

George Thoroughgood married Emily Dillon and had one son, Sidney James Thoroughgood who was killed in the Somme. Sidney's wife was Ada. The last known place of residence of George and Emily was in Newtown NSW. No birth or death certificates can be found. All information above has come from Sidney's marriage certificate. |
