PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP I'm looking for anyonr one who might share my ancestors as I finding it hard to find information held in australia. My Great Grandfather "Ernest George Hurren and his wife "Frances Olive" moved to BRISBANE in 1926 along with children Alfred, Francis (Percy), Olive, William, Edward and Maurice. I also have found another child born in australia in 1927 who sadly died in 1928. My NAN OLIVE married an Arnold Robert Sharpe in 1941. My dad can also recall playing as a boy with DESSIE (Desmond) If anyone cam help fill in the missing gaps i would love to here from you |

George Thoroughgood married Emily Dillon and had one son, Sidney James Thoroughgood who was killed in the Somme. Sidney's wife was Ada. The last known place of residence of George and Emily was in Newtown NSW. No birth or death certificates can be found. All information above has come from Sidney's marriage certificate. |

Widow of Charles Romia who went down with his ship off Galipoli in1915. Maiden name Hobbs. Born in Devon March 1892. One son that I can find, Victor Arthur born 1926 Wiltshire.
I cannot find her death registered anywhere in UK and I have searched meticulously. I may have her photo, she was very beautiful. I know about her birth details and tragic life. I am sure she was rescued and taken to Australia, but I don't know. |
